Although I am mentally more in line with Rabbit, I'd rather hang with Eeyore. He always makes me want to stop and cuddle him. I think it's the nurse in me.

I would rather never, ever go back to high school. High school can be defined as four years of angst and misery for all but the prom queen/king types. I hated every minute of every day of it.

I instantly assume that something is wrong, regardless of circumstances.

Waldenbooks in the malls. I miss them. Their discount membership clubs were free (and genre based), they always had a good selection of both established and newer authors. When they left the malls, so did I.

I spent the first day of the New Year sleeping. I spent the first six hours of it working in the ICU, and I didn't even notice that it was now 2009 until 0030. When I got home, I went to bed. Oh, and I spent the last six hours of the 1st working as well (we run 6 to 6). Does that mean my entire life is nothing more than work and sleep?

Wednesday night was quiet, serene, and peaceful in the ICU. No disasters, no crises, no codes, no deaths, not one exciting thing happened.

I get to work, just like I work every Christmas because the hospital cannot just tell all the patients 'Sorry, go home, we're closed for Christmas' like other businesses.
